IMHO, we should be conservative with this release to avoid experience with few previous. There is no better marketing than good release.
With the opening of Factory to the community you might find it not as conservative as you would like, with all new workflows, processes and package acceptance strategies and so on. as-needed fixes will be just a minor hickup compared to that.
