It's been OVER 5 weeks now, and we can't update our beloved OpenOffice, because the packager can't seem to get the 5 "extension" packages over their dependency issues!! Can we expect that to happen in the near future, or do we have to wait for 11.2?
Urgh, I am sorry but I wasn't ware about these problems. Where do see them? In factory? Have you reported it in bugzilla? Have you reported it anywhere at all?
Yes, and others on the opensuse list have also noted it. Even from a clean, fresh, on a new 'puter shipped with Vista and replaced with 11.1 w/KDE 4.1 and updated using FACTORY for updating KDE, it happens "right out of the box" so to speak. The problem has to do withe the 5 "extension" OO packages. I've tried to nudge someone, NICELY, to get it fixed, since it's obvious that it broken, for over 5 weeks!
Out of the box means _*NO*_ external updates (other then security) especially from factory. If you want to use factory then expect problems and pitch your bitch in bugzilla. And if you want fixes faster hire someone to work on the project. I for one am getting tired of your rants on this list. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
