hello all, environment: openSuSE 11.1 makeSUSEdvd 0.46.9 (downloaded from sourceforge) error when running makeSUSEdvd: cd:/content: Invalid signature. Installation aborted. my questions in a nutshell: 1) are there additional steps i need to know about or run to create a customized dvd with makeSUSEdvd so that i do not receive the error message? 2) do i need to un-comment the three (3) snippets of code, inside of makeSUSEdvd, way below - to create a modified distro that will NOT fail when it boots up? after doing some googling on the error message above, i found this archived message thread from this mailing list (http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2009-01/msg00324.html) after reading the thread - i basically understand what is being proposed by Nico - but after looking at the source code for makeSUSEdvd v. 0.46.9 - it appears as though the proposed changes have been placed in the code - but commented out! example code pulled from my /usr/bin/makeSUSEdvd in function PUT_KEY_IN_INITRD: ... # extract the installkey.gpg keyring # cpio -i -u "installkey.gpg" <"${INITRD}.uncomp" # rename it inside the archive # pax -s /installkey.gpg/old.gpg/ -f "${INITRD}.uncomp" &>/dev/null # now create a new keyring from the merged keys # rm "pubring.gpg" # gpg --trust-model always \ # --keyring ./pubring.gpg \ # --no-default-keyring \ # --import installkey.gpg &>/dev/null ... tm -- Mark Meyer Senior Software Engineer Primex Family Of Companies 965 S.
