After the update today, there appears to be some work done on Xorg. Screen savers (openGL) would frequently hang the desktop after running awhile and sometimes only run in a small window. Both of those look like have been fixed.....this with Intel video chipset. Also, Frozzen-Bubble would totally seize the system.....that no longer happens.
Someone else reported today that he's having problem with sound....not very loud on his laptop. I have the same problem with Intel audio chipset. Also, ANY moving video, i.e., Utube or file clip of any type "stutters".....video and audio isn't smooth.
Re sound: go to Control Centre and check that the Volume setting(s) are still set to the correct (~max) levels. I've found that upgrades sometimes alter the settings. Re stuttering. Same thing happened to me yesterday. I rebooted the system and the problem seems to have vanished. Try it.
