Hello, Ludwig Nussel írta:
Of course, the machine could not continue booting, as / was mounted on NFS. The same problem appears also when shutting down the machine. Could network interface shutdown be disabled if / on NFS is detected? Or is there any better solution for this problem?
See STARTMODE docu in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg.template: # - nfsroot: Nearly like 'auto'. But interfaces with this startmode will never # be shut down via 'rcnetwork stop'. 'ifdown <iface>' still works. # Use this when you have a nfs root filesystem.
Thanks, so it is there, but autoconfig does not know about it. Then for now I disable autoconfiguration, and add an enhancement request once Bugzilla works from here, that it should be enabled automagically, when nfsroot is detected.
