Hi Group, I was told this group is appropriate for this topic: As far as I can tell the wishlist entries don't explicitly/directly get addressed. Sometime ago I filed a wishlist request for cromfs and it would have been nice to know that its had least been: - read, - considered, - rejected/accepted. I was (pleasantly) surprised to discover cromfs in the openSUSE 11.0 base even though I was still seeing it in the wishlist. I discovered it in the OBS only because I went to start a OBS project.... I don't think you can rely on everyone who contributes to the wishlist, to also run OBS accounts/projects. Nonetheless its not obvious that cromfs' inclusion was due to it having been nominated in the wishlist - I probably got lucky, since it is still listed there. Is filing a bugzilla 'enhancement' to be preferred? Would I get any more feedback than received for a wishlist entry? Finally if the wishlist pages are the preferred mechanism it would seem that a category worth considering is 'security'.
