Yast2 has an option to list all installed packages. I can t find a similar option under yast1.
In SUSE 11 there is a special '@System' repository, which should list all installed packages.
Another option is to pick 'Installation summary' filter and leave only 'Keep' box checked there. But this does not work in ncurses either, installation summary simply lists all packages that were marked for (un)installation in this session, does not enable one to filter packages by status. Not a trivial feature, enotime to implement it for 11.0 :(
As I checked if this is available in ncurses based yast, I found, it is, but the list is empty!
I know about this bug, and I already have a fix for it, but again, it won't make it to 11.0 (it is too late for accepting fixes for non-critical bugs now and moreover, the bug affects only minority of users).
May be I need to make a bug report for this.
No need, there already is bug #384085: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=384085 frozenB. -- \\\\\ Katarina Machalkova \\\\\\\__o YaST developer __\\\\\\\'/_ & hedgehog painter
