Saw this on a couple of packages yesterday, what I did was this: choosed abort and then:

zypper in libncurses5

and after that zypper dup worked fine.

I choose abort also, and fortunately, this release of zypper did not shut down, but continued beyond the failing pkgs. It is still busy with dup. ;), so i'll wait until it is finished, and grep the installed versions of the failed pkgs, and try up again.. -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (Now or never...)
