Perhaps you could test wether it compiles on another distro version. Or you can try to make some other package.
I think gcc is running above, but doesn't find the "ac_nonexistent.h" - which I think it is correct, the name implies it is meant to not exist. But somehow that is interpreted to mean that gcc does not exist?
Dunno. I don't really understand how configure works.

I reckon it's the gcc-fortran packages that are missing. libdvdcss-1.2.9 built here on x86 and x86_64 without any problems on all openSUSE's right up to 10.3 Beta3. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
