This is not realy correct, if a system has to be improved, in this case the way to update/grade, this feature has to be tested vigourously, i would not want to call this behaviour 'upgraditis' ...in this case..
You wouldnt call but it is. And who said all repositories contains tested packages?
A way has to be found, to upgrade from url, without to have to be afraid to loose a goodworking system...
That of course is a non sense, as it depends on the repository, not on the lock method, package manager, or the user. If you are afraid of losing a good working system, you should isntall waht you want after installation, and never ever touch the package manager again. Thats the way you wont never lose a good working system. In fact, if people did this more often, they would break much much less their installations Marcio --- druid --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
