Installed 10.2 Alpha4 on a old laptop with the following problems:
1. USB mouse went haywire during install, used touchpad instead.
2. During package selection the screen stayed at 800x600 resolution even though I selected 1024x768 for the install res.
3. The Linksys wireless card is now recognised even though I needed to download a firmware package from Ubuntu as one was not available from openSUSE that I could find.

As you can see the radio is turned on and I can scan for and see my wireless network using kwifimanager but the signal strength (0) reported is too poor for a connection. A scan using KWiFiManager shows the correct SSID, Mode:Managed (correct), Quality: 100, WEP: on (correct).
Using kinternet I _was_ able to initiate a wireless connection that KWiFiManager confirms. Seems strange that KWiFiManager couldn't do that. Will report as a bug. If anyone else is in need of the firmware for the WRT54G pcmcia wireless card let me know and I will send it off list.
