Maybe you should clean your keyboard or the keyboard connector from your motherboard. I thought KDE had problems with clicks until I discovered tgat my mouse was slightly damaged. A new mouse changed everything.
Check what is the same on all those configuration you tried this on.

The PIII 700 system I installed Factory on has or had: SUSE 10.1 (had factory, has final, both from FTP) SUSE 10.2 Factory from FTP Mandriva 2007 Cooker SUSE 9.0 Knoppix 4.0.2 Windoz XP eComStation 1.14 eComStation 2.0b1 Only the first two in the above list have the problem. 2.4G Celeron machine two has or had the following: SUSE 10.0 from DVD Mandriva 2006 SUSE 9.0 Knoppix 4.0.2 eComStation 1.13 Only the first in the above list has the problem. 800M Celeron machine three has or had the following: SUSE 10.0 (had factory, has final, both from FTP) Knoppix 4.0.2 Windoz XP eComStation 1.14 Only the first in the above list has the problem.
