Hi everybody,
if you wanted to install the ATI proprietary fglrx driver on a 10.1 beta 1 system you will have the problem that some files from the fglrx package are linked to an expat library version that is no longer shipped with beta 1. If you still want to use the fglrx driver with beta 1 you can install the package http://pi3.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/~schiele/beta1/expat-compat-0-0.i586.r... as a workaround. If you need the same package for a 64 bit system, drop me a note and I might consider to build one as well.
And consider following my ATI installer HOWTO ... http://www.suse.de/~sndirsch/ati-installer-HOWTO.html Stefan Public Key available ------------------------------------------------------ Stefan Dirsch (Res. & Dev.)
