Estimados en la reciente actualizacion de opensuse 42.3 empece a tener el problema que systemd-coredump usa todos los procesadores al 100%, obviamente se trata de un bug, la unica solucion que encontre es:

agregar la linea Storage=none
espero le sirva si a alguien le pasa, espero tener pronto una mejor solucion a esto.
coredump normalmente interviene para cerrar una aplicación que está colgada. Revista con top en consola cual es la aplicación que mas recursos consume.
