wxGTK, como su nombre lo dice, deriva de GTK, que eran las librerias de base para Gnome, así como Qt es la libreria de base para KDE. O es que han introducido las librerias de Mono, como librerias de base para Gnome?
El nombre GTK significa "The GIMP Toolkit", no Gnome Tool Kit. El hecho de que las use Gnome no quiere decir que sean suyas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GTK GTK+, or The GIMP Toolkit, is one of the most popular widget toolkits for the X Window System for creating graphical user interfaces, along with Qt and Motif. GTK+ was initially created for the GNU Image Manipulation Program, a raster graphics editor, in 1997 by Spencer Kimball, Peter Mattis, and Josh MacDonaldall of whom were members of eXperimental Computing Facility (XCF) at UC Berkeley. Licensed under the LGPL, GTK+ is free (and open source) software, and is part of the GNU Project. Respecto a wxGTK, según el rpm: Description : wxWidgets is a free C++ framework to make cross-platform programming easy. It supports Windows 3.1/95/98/NT, and Unix with GTK/Motif/Lesstif. This is the version for GTK+. This package only contains the runtime libraries and other data needed by the runtime libraries. Encima, es C++, no C. :-p - -- Saludos Carlos E.R. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFG8CCatTMYHG2NR9URAndJAJ9IuQmdBzuoNsRDg+t4kEBi33YbzgCfU9J5 ih6BiPHXBgUZ7cvIU+zAliA= =enWW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
