The qualification will be operating system independent, but the materials will be developed for GNU/Linux. The qualification will be certified by The Learning Machine, a QCA approved awarding body, and development is being led by M6-IT CIC. It will be referenced to the National Occupational Standards for ICT practitioners. The target audience will be technicians working in small organisations and 16+ education.
