One school using Desktop Linux that people may not be aware of is Ackworth School in West Yorkshire. We've not publicised this much yet because we wanted to get through all the problems, but the school has X based thin client terminals with sound, movie playing ability, usb flash access and all the usual Linux apps. They've trialled a small set of clients and plan to expand in September.
