Easy solution given you know the netbios names - add reservations on the DHCP scope for the particular machines, then block the ip addresses you've assigned. Now letting the teachers turn that on and off? Probably need to mess with Webmin. Ideally using the netbios names to identify the machines as we have come to the conclusion that using static IPs is impracticable. We would also like teachers to have access to switch this access on and off.
