NB: Any of the "what good will it do" attitude plays into the hands of both M$ and the Gov. ( as the timing of this is no accident, and this fact alone fills me with disgust. ) So put yourselves out, and put yourselves about, and if they will not hear our voice then we must learn to shout.
This is a *very* good point. One Labour employee (can't remember her name) has been publically chastised - but not sacked - for suggesting that now would be a good time to leak news items that are not good for Labour. I personally believe that (i) she only got chastised because she put it down on paper - it was in a memo, and (ii) she certainly won't have been the only one to think this.
Never loose sight of the fact that M$ considers Linux, and by association you and me, as the enemy. So they will not play fair, and they will not play by the rules. So dont be surprised............
I've long since believed that M$ don't have customers - to them everyone is the enemy, to be either beaten or fooled.
