Hi The October issue of Linux format has abilty office www.ability.com This has Word Processor Database Spreadsheet Paint and Microsoft import tools. The linux version is being ported using wine, statically linked something, Anyway it's described as a alpha version of the commercial software, so I guess it's not GPL, however I guess it would still work out cheaper tham MS office and the licencing would be far easier to understand. While on the subject of this the same issue has kylix open edition, a version of kylix for developing open source software, this again may be of interest to schools. Hope this helps. On the subject of the wish list, Would it be better to a) add some software to the Linuxjournal wish list or as most is likely to be UK school specific, add it to the suse site, or even something like the main uk linux site, what do you think? A quick note about prolog, there are a few ports of this to Linux, so check out the RPM repository as I think it's listed there. Paul
