Fdisk doesn't scrub unfortunately. Anyone with technical knowhow can still see the files. Ditto when files are deleted, ditto when a hard drive is reformatted (sometimes). You need a program which will wipe free space. Do the machines have Windows on them or linux? Lots of stuff for windows.
