Further to adding disks, I do like the way in which hard disks are identified on the system, with hda to hdc referring to the physical IDE address of the disk. Sometimes under win9x this can become very confusing when trying to identify the physical disk from it's logical name in a multi disk/multi partion set-up - especially when windows decides to change the drive letters! I must say that LINUX appears to be very stable - even when operated by someone as unstable as myself - I can attribute all crashes to myself (these usually are in the form of application crashes), but with multiple accounts I have only used the power switch a couple of times to clear problems! Number Lock I have number lock set up in my BIOS but it's not set on boot, is this LINUX over-riding the num lock status?
