It's good if you post to the list, then other people will see what's happening. Get out of X and (as root) start yast. Go to system configuration -> Integrate hardware into system -> Mouse configuration Tell it what kind of mouse you've really got. You may need to run sax (the graphics setup program) and tell it too. I have installed SUSE and had no problems at all. After the first boot however i logged on and loaded the GUI and my mouse seems to have a mind og it's own.
