ENTWEDER a) (exclusiv) ODER b) Nochmal zu Klarstellung (ich hab nochmal die zuerst von dir gemailten menu.lsts angeschaut): - die SuSE 10.0 ist auf /dev/hda6? - die SuSE 10.2 ist auf /dev/hdd5? - die /boot/-Partition der 10.0 ist /dev/hda1? - die SUSE 10.2 hat keine extra /boot/-Partition Alles richtig? Dann s.u.

Lese bitte in 'info grub' nochmal konzentriert folgende Abschnitte: Part II: * Filesystem * Device syntax * Filename syntax * Commands * Command-line and menu entry commands - Command: chainloader - Command: initrd - Command: kernel - Command: root Und dann versuche die folgende menu.lst nachzuvollziehen. ==== /boot/grub/menu.lst für die 10.0 (boot auf /dev/hda1) ==== default 0 timeout 8 gfxmenu (hd0,0)/message title SUSE LINUX 10.0 (/dev/hda6) kernel (hd0,0)/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda6 selinux=0 resume=/dev/hda5 splash=verbose showopts initrd (hd0,0)/initrd title openSUSE 10.2 (/dev/hdd5) kernel (hd1,4)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hdd5 resume=/dev/hda5 splash=verbose showopts initrd (hd1,4)/boot/initrd title openSuSE 10.2 GRUB (hdd5) chainloader (hd1,4)+1 ==== Zur Erinnerung: laut der device.map des Grubs der 10.0 entspricht (hd0) = /dev/hda (hd1) = /dev/hdd dementsprechend musst du die "(hdX,Y)"-Angaben in der menu.lst interpretieren.
Falls der chainloder funktionieren sollte, startet man dann damit was?
Was auch immer im ersten Sektor von /dev/hdd5 ist.
