Ich habe schon mehrfach versucht, meinem Keyboard die Tilde beizubringen. Wenn ich in der Konsole (root) sax2 aufrufe um die tote Taste zu belegen, stürzt meine Maus ab und das Keyboard hängt sich auf. Hat jemand einen Tipp? Vielen Dank.
Die Konfigurationsdatei /etc/X11/XF86Config müsste einen Abschnitt
enthalten, der so ähnlich aussieht:
,----
| Section "InputDevice"
| Driver "keyboard"
| Identifier "Keyboard[0]"
| Option "Protocol" "Standard"
| Option "XkbKeyCodes" "xfree86"
| Option "XkbLayout" "de"
| Option "XkbModel" "pc104"
| Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
| Option "XkbVariant" "deadkeys"
| EndSection
`----
Die Option "XkbVariant" auf "nodeadkeys" ändern. X11 neu starten; nun
müsste es funktionieren. Sollte die Option nicht existieren, dann
musst Du sie natürlich hinzufügen.

Bernhard
