Uebrigens ich habe gesehen, dass du die gnus Oort Version benützt. Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich mir diese bei www.gnus.org geholt, jedoch noch nicht installiert. Ein README ist bei diesen Paketen nicht dabei.
Dann hast Du Dir wohl einen Schnappschuss geholt. Bei denen ist kein Readme dabei, dafuer aber bei den Releases. Oort-0.05 ist das letzte. Installiert wird in einem beliebigen Verzeichnis mit ./configure && make EMACS=xemacs Dann musst Du xemacs noch sagen, wo er Gnus und die zugehoerigen Info-Seiten findet: Then you have to tell Emacs where Gnus is. You might put something like (setq load-path (cons (expand-file-name "~/gnus-5.6.53/lisp") load-path)) in your .emacs file, or wherever you keep such things. To enable reading the Gnus manual, you could say something like: (require 'info) (setq Info-default-directory-list (cons "~/gnus-5.6.53/texi" Info-default-directory-list)) or (require 'info) (setq Info-directory-list (cons "~/gnus-5.6.53/texi" Info-directory-list)) depending on which version of Emacs or XEmacs you're using. -- In the begining was the word, and the word was: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
