Hallo, ich habe hier eine GeForce3 Karte auf einem 7.3 System mit dem "nv" Treiber unter X im Betrieb. Damit kann ich problemlos 1600x1200x24 als Auflösung fahren. Probiere ich nun den nvidia Treiber mit diesen Auflösungen zu konfigurieren, so bekomme ich nur Meldungen der Form: (II) LoadModule: "ddc" (II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libddc.a (II) Module ddc: vendor="The XFree86 Project" compiled for 4.1.0, module version = 1.0.0 ABI class: XFree86 Video Driver, version 0.4 (II) NVIDIA(0): Monitor[0]: Using hsync range of 30.00-115.00 kHz (II) NVIDIA(0): Monitor[0]: Using vrefresh range of 50.00-160.00 Hz (II) NVIDIA(0): Clock range: 12.00 to 350.00 MHz (II) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1600x1200" (hsync out of range) (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1600x1200": (WW) NVIDIA(0): horizontal sync width (1968 - 1616 = 352) greater than 256 (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (1218 - 1200 = 18) greater than 16 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1600x1024": (WW) NVIDIA(0): horizontal sync width (1968 - 1616 = 352) greater than 256 (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (1042 - 1024 = 18) greater than 16 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1600x1000": (WW) NVIDIA(0): horizontal sync width (1968 - 1616 = 352) greater than 256 (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (1018 - 1000 = 18) greater than 16 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1400x1050": (WW) NVIDIA(0): horizontal sync width (1704 - 1416 = 288) greater than 256 (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (1068 - 1050 = 18) greater than 16 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1280x1024": (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (1042 - 1024 = 18) greater than 16 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1280x960": (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (978 - 960 = 18) greater than 16 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1152x864": (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (882 - 864 = 18) greater than 16 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1024x768": (WW) NVIDIA(0): vertical sync width (786 - 768 = 18) greater than 16 (EE) NVIDIA(0): No modes remaining for Display Device 0 (EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting *** Auch bei Auflösungen von 1024x768 will das System nicht. Mit 800x600 geht es dann, aber das ist nicht in meinem Sinne. Mfg Jörg
