VMware(TM) Workstation software will not compile on a kernel with a 64 Gb memory configuration. According to your incident report, you have 1 GB of RAM on your host system. Please do the following: -Install the stock 2.4.4-SMP kernel and header files, instead of the ones you've got running. -Select 2 GB as the amount of memory in kernel config. -Re-run VMware-config.pl, and have the modules compile again. The maximum memory configuration for an install of VMware Workstation is currently 2 GB.
-- Rupert Kolb
