Hallo Liste. Ich bin gerade auf Suse 7 umgestiegen (Neuinst.) Jetzt kaempfe ich noch mit der Inst. des Scanners. Der lief unter 6.2 und Kernel 2.2.10 einwandfrei. Jetzt erhalte ich bei xsane die Meldung: Failed to start scanner: Error during device I/O Die notwendig Unterstuetzung ist im Kernel drin. Der SCSI-Controler wird auch erkannt: ncr53c8xx: at PCI bus 0, device 10, function 0 ncr53c8xx: 53c810a detected with Symbios NVRAM ncr53c810a-0: rev 0x23 on pci bus 0 device 10 function 0 irq 11 ncr53c810a-0: Symbios format NVRAM, ID 7, Fast-10, Parity Checking ncr53c810a-0: restart (scsi reset). scsi1 : ncr53c8xx-3.4.0-20000709 scsi : 2 hosts. Vendor: Model: Scanner Rev: 1.80 Type: Scanner ANSI SCSI revision: 04 Detected scsi generic sg2 at scsi1, channel 0, id 6, lun 0 Nur die Meldung ncr53c810a-0-<6,*>: target did not report SYNC macht mich stutzig. I/O Konflikte gibt es nicht (laut /proc/ioports). Obwohl ein cat /proc/interrupts 11: 100290 XT-PIC nvidia, ncr53c8xx ausgibt. Also Controller und Grafikkarte liegen auf einem IRQ, was aber unter M$ wohl funktioniert. Weiss jemand von euch woran das liegen koennte?
