Hallo Liste, Ich hab in einer vm win98 laufen, und als Netzwerk host-only eingestellt. ipconfig von win98 sagt: ---------------------------------------------------------- C:\WINDOWS>ipconfig Windows 98 IP-Konfiguration 0 Ethernet Adapter : IP-Adresse. . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.88 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0 Standard-Gateway . . . . . . : ---------------------------------------------------------- und ifconfig auf dem linux host sagt: ---------------------------------------------------------- linux:~ # ifconfig ippp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol inet addr:192.168.0.254 P-t-P:192.168.0.1 Mask:255.255.255.255 UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP DYNAMIC MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:30 lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:3924 Metric:1 RX packets:7270 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:7270 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 vmnet1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 89:D8:31:E8:83:C4 inet addr:192.168.0.99 Bcast:192.168.255.255 Mask:255.255.0.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:510 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 ---------------------------------------------------------- Soweit scheint alles ok. Jedoch kommt bei jedem Ping egal in welche Richtung immer ein Timeout. Woran kann das liegen ? route scheint auch ok, obwohl da ja nicht geroutet wird (?). ---------------------------------------------------------- linux:~ # route Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 192.168.0.1 * 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 ippp0 192.168.0.0 * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 vmnet1 loopback * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo cu, Ray -- __ _ Raymond Häb, ray.haeb@gmx.net, cologne, germany / / (_)__ __ ____ __ / /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / . . . t h e c h o i c e o f a /____/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ G N U g e n e r a t i o n . . . --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: suse-linux-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands, e-mail: suse-linux-help@suse.com
