Hi all,
I see one Kiwi improvement in OBS.
Currently source path="obs:// needs to be put in the .kiwi file. This is a problem if you want build an image with the same kiwi file for more then one repo. Would it be an option use the repositories in the meta file (like obs build, for rpm) does?
Currently I cant for example build a JeOS.kiwi for openSUSE:Factory:ARM and openSUSE:12.2:ARM In the same project. Even tough I've created two image build repositories for them. One Factory and on 12.2.
Yes, I see this also as an important feature.
However, I guess this need to be solved in OBS.
We should have just a generic obsproject:// url or alike in the kiwi file and obs_worker and osc needs to replace it by the right set of repositories.
So, this mailing list is maybe the wrong place, except for asking for feedback on that approach :)
I've sent it to the openSUSE buildservice mailing list too.
bye adrian
