Andreas If you delete the desktop file either kde or gnome, whatever you use. You have to force it as delete one and the other tries to install, just leave yourself chromium and it's fixed for now.
In case you are on Gnome and have chromium-desktop-gnome installed, run update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/chromium chromium /usr/lib64/chromium/chromium-gnome 15 update-alternatives --auto chromium to get /usr/bin/chromium back. I guess the chromium-desktop-gnome package is missing a PreReq to chormium.
