If you could exclude the bigger packages and get the smaller ones done. It would do alot of jobs. Perhaps do the bigger jobs on another host.
Yes, would be nice and IIRC we have also fate requests for this. One could even do dynamic repartition LVM volumes to match the build jobs.
Now we just need someone who wants to work on this :)
I wonder if the space-used-on-disk-used may be recorded against the the {packagename}. It may be used next time to direct where the package is compiled on, i.e use ram memory for small packages Use another host with disk for larger package compiles i.e > 3GB And the space-used-on-disk-used and {packagename} could be put in a self sorting list for reference if needed.
