Well, I don't know how much ram the workers have. In theory it would be possible to do it with ram disks, but consider: Most physical workers I think run with 8 logical workers. 8 workers consuming 4GB ramfs each => 32GB (ok: I assume the memory is not consumed before the disk is getting full, so this is 'worst case' of course... but reality shows that this is the normal case. And then I assume that the xen machines would like to have some memory dedicated as well, for the building task itself.
