Hi,
on an attempt to update my kernel-2.6.33 build from a local git tree, I did the usual:
$ scripts/tar-up.sh $ cp -vau kernel-source/* \ ~/src/obs/home\:frispete\:kernel-2.6.33/kernel-source/ $ cd ~/src/obs/home\:frispete\:kernel-2.6.33/kernel-source/ $ osc ci -m "patches.kernel.org/patch-2.6.33.5: apply stable release 5" http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.33.tar.bz2 preun.sh postun.sh pre.sh post.sh series.conf supported.conf arch-symbols guards check-for-config-changes check-supported-list source-timestamp find-provides modversions kabi.pl split-modules kernel-spec-macros config.tar.bz2 patches.arch.tar.bz2 patches.drivers.tar.bz2 patches.fixes.tar.bz2 patches.rpmify.tar.bz2 patches.suse.tar.bz2 patches.xen.tar.bz2 patches.addon.tar.bz2 patches.kernel.org.tar.bz2 patches.apparmor.tar.bz2 patches.rt.tar.bz2 patches.trace.tar.bz2 patches.kabi.tar.bz2 patches.aufs2.tar.bz2 kabi.tar.bz2 error: Duplicate Release entries in package: (main package) ERROR: source_validator failed
Only to harvest the above error. "osc diff" looks fine, through (attached).
Anybody with an idea, what's going wrong here?
Nobody seems to have any mercy with me. Silly me. Why do I want to go out _pissing_ with the big dogs? Anyway, the error sounds, like it is related to this excerpt from kernel-source.spec: %if %using_buildservice Release: <RELEASE> %else Release: 0 %endif Is that not valid anymore?
