As I'm using the webfrontend....do I out this into the .spec file?

Forget it, just found the answer myself.
One more question. where can I change the editor that osc intends to
throw up:

Just set the EDITOR environment variable, I think.

Ah, that works...at least somewhat :-|

axel@z60m:~> export EDITOR=kwrite
axel@z60m:~> osc meta prj tryton -e
Sending meta data...
BuildService API error: unknown (400)
Try again? ([y/N]): y
Sending meta data...
BuildService API error: unknown (400)

Even if the EDITOR=kwrite looks strange for me ;-), I checked that it works
well. Are you sure that you don't have an error in command? I did not find the
tryton project in OBS

osc search tryton
No matches found for 'tryton' in projects
####################################################################
matches for 'tryton' in packages:

# Package # Project
trytond home:DocB

Do you use your own BuildService instance, or the OBS on build.opensuse.org?
What's your home project?

BTW: The ``osc meta prj tryton'' shows the current project meta xml, so try it
first.

Best regards
