Can anyone point to any good resources for writing spec files?
This is the one that I've used the most. http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm/
Indeed, but AFAIK the up-to-date version is here: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/drafts/rpm-guide-en/
Speaking of which, a lot of SUSE spec files do not pass rpmlint.
JFYI, We use rpmlint internally meanwhile and we will also integrate it into the Build Service. The rpmlint package from Factory contains already an improved and adapted set of tests for openSUSE. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
