http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1173897 Bug ID: 1173897 Summary: canberra-gtk-module not found Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: epixunknown@protonmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 839494 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=839494&action=edit The image of the error I have been experiencing problems in running Spotify (installed via snap) and Thunderbird (which is via the rpm from the official site). Everytime I run those apps I will get this Gtk-Message: the_current_time: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module". Sometimes it will even spew this "Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key" and also "GTK-WARNING **: the_current_time: cannot open display :0". Then the app doesnt start. I'll have to restart the system to make it work again. I did actually install all the libcanberra modules and reinstalled all of them with sudo zypper in libcanberra* and sudo zypper in -f libcanberra*. This openSUSE Tumbleweed is freshly installed (about a week old). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
