http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171319 Bug ID: 1171319 Summary: [Build 20200506] AutoYaST: integrate with pam_libpwdquality Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other URL: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1257466/modules/yast 2_firstboot/steps/13 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: AutoYaST Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: dimstar@opensuse.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- ## Observation openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-autoyast_y2_firstboot@64bit fails in [yast2_firstboot](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1257466/modules/yast2_firstboot/steps/13) Installations using autoyast do no longer show the 'password too simple' dialog upon first boot. This is due to the switch from cracklib to pwdquality and the querying likely is done wrong. The regular installer still (e.g. DVD/gnome instal and others) still does show the dialog (but come to think: that's likely installation-images forcibly pulling in cracklib and using a legacy cracklib-based pam stack) YaST / AutoYaST should be adopted to these new circumstances ## Test suite description Smoke test for YaST2 Firstboot module, basically same as yast2_firstboot test suite. Test pre-defined autoyast profile, which enables YaST2 Firstboot during system deployment. SUT should boot to YaST2 Firstboot wizard after reboot. Test goes through all Firstboot tabs, configure root and user accounts. SUT should end up in GDM screen after exiting YaST2 Firstboot. ## Reproducible Fails since (at least) Build [20200505](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1256827) ## Expected result Last good: [20200504](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1255646) (or more recent) ## Further details Always latest result in this scenario: [latest](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/latest?arch=x86_64&distri=opensuse&flavor=DVD&machine=64bit&test=autoyast_y2_firstboot&version=Tumbleweed) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
