I was unable to reproduce the issue. Could you pls check what I did if it confirms the test? - started kde live iso (downloaded from the BS, with yast2-network 4.2.12) - installer reported active network -> enabled online repositories - started installation
Did I miss some special configuration step?
AFAICT that's what openQA does as well. Did you wait until the end of the installation?
I'll try to reproduce it here as well.
I can indeed not reproduce the error dialog, but after the installation DNS lookups are broken as resolv.conf does not have any entries.
The same happened to me, but this point give me an idea of what could be wrong. See https://github.com/yast/yast-storage-ng/pull/966 and https://github.com/yast/yast-installation/pull/814 Basically now /run is bind-mounted in /mnt/run, and there is a point where yast2-network calls netconfig update for writing DNS configuration.
From logs:

I assume it breaks in openQA differently because the installation takes a bit longer, so the cache expires just before it finishes.
