--- Comment #5 from Josef Möllers
Regarding pam_krb5 I have no idea. It's a question for my now retired network admin. Is there any way I can find out?
Try running "kinit" OTOH if you don't know, you probably don't need it, especially if you use LDAP.
Inspired by the Leap 42.3 pam.d-configuration which eventually broke, as far as I can make out because the client assumed LDAP version 3 and the server is running LDAP version 2, I have managed to get a configuration that works but for all I know pam-krb5 may be superfluous.
I'm sorry not to be able to give you more precise answers and my current network admins do not support OpenSuse.
That's OK.
What is a supportconfig file and how do I get it? At present I have no time to do any experimentation regarding this issue because of work deadlines but if you can give me step-by-step instructions that can be completed within half an hour I can make an attempt.
Just run "supportconfig" as "root". This creates a file called "/var/log/nts_<hostname>_<date>_<time>.txz", but it tells you at the end. Note that you need root permissions to access the file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
