http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1142407 Bug ID: 1142407 Summary: QMPlay2: Current Version Crashes and rpmbuild fails Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE Factory Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software Assignee: dleuenberger@suse.com Reporter: simon.vogl@gmx.net QA Contact: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Dear Dominique Leuenberger, I have noticed that the current version of QMPlay2 just crashes during launch. It is quite easy to find the problem which is the fact that there is now for some reason a file at /usr/share/solid/actions/QMPlay2-opencda.desktop which is not packaged in the rpm's .spec file, causing the build to fail with the following error: RPM build errors: Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found: /usr/share/solid/actions/QMPlay2-opencda.desktop For some reason the build still completes in OBS but the resulting package is broken and when installed, QMPlay2 will instantly crash at launch. The easiest fix for this would be to add %{_datadir}/solid/actions/%{name}*.desktop to %files in QMPlay2.spec as it packages the QMPlay2-opencda.desktop and causes the build to succeed. The package resulting from the succeeded build works perfectly fine and runs smoothly.
