I wonder whether it would be possible to ship the script already under /usr/lib/systemd/system. To my understanding it would do no harm - manually enabling it is still needed - and simplify the setup for those that need it by not asking them to copy the file and making it easier to discover.
Well, but then running systemctl would still be required, i.e. reading the documentation in /usr/share/doc/packages/suse-prime/README.md I'm still optimistic that we might be able at some time to switch to suse-prime
= 0.6.x ...
