I just updated QGis to version 3.6, including its dependencies. Clean Leap 15.0 installation, all patches as of today, no additional repositories other than Application:Geo attached. I removed my configuration folder, allowing a "fresh start" - no difference. The error does not appear to be totally consistent, but it appears to originate in either GDAL or PROJ (libproj.so.15).
