Hmm. Indeed, I only have yast2-sysconfig installed, but no yast2-alternatives on my system. Updating since some openSUSE releases ...
But if people just go into Yast without looking at the documentation to change the display manager *in the same way they have always done it* and therefore having no reason to look at the documentation, then they will be confused and think it is broken. (And in some sense it is, if you ask me).

Is it possible to make yast2-sysconfig trigger a call to update-alternatives --config default-displaymanager when the display manager is changed? since that command worked on my system without Yast2 alternatives being installed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
