The Task:
We can define priorities for add-ons in AutoYaST profile as described in
comment #2. It's already documented in the AY Docs. Add-Ons declaration
can be used for any repository that user wants to use as a source of RPMs
for installation.
The problem here is that although one can define the priority of a particular
repository/add-on, that option is actually ignored.
Expectations:
- Repository priority is preserved (and used later)
- When the user enters `yast2 repositories`, the correct priority is there
- Also `zypper lr <something>` lists the correct priority
Code:
- Ideally simple fix
- Code refactoring in needed
- Fix for `master` branch, if easy, starting with `SLE 15 GA` branch makes
sense as we might release a self-update of the installer
- Code should be well-covered by unit-tests too
How to Test the Fix:
- Depends, if it's in inst-sys, then providing a DUD=xxx insecure=1
might help, or changing the source file in inst-sys directly ...
(careful! It's a read-only system, needs manual tweaks)
- Installer self-update (self_update URL on Linuxrc commandline)
- Fixing the installation DVD might work too
- More info, links ... on the IRC
