Yes, and give the user the choice to drop the already-made configuration choices if he still wants to coninue without chrony. Or, how about adding rudimentary support for legacy ntp back to the YaST installer, so that the very limited configuration options that are possible in the installation workflow can be written to an initial ntp.conf? Then later on, if the YaST module is run while legacy ntp is active and chrony is not installed, it could still complain that configuration of time synchronisation beyond the installation phase is only supported with chrony, but not with legacy ntp anymore. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
