I think the issue is that pam-config looks for pam_kwallet5.so in /lib/security but it is located in /lib64/security.
If you have pam-32bit installed you also need 32bit variants of all PAM modules available. Otherwise 32-bit PAM sessions would either behave differently or just fail completely. As you edited the file yourself you circumvented pam-config's sanity check. pam_kwallet-32bit contains "Supplements: packageand(pam_kwallet:pam-32bit)" and it works here just fine. If I install pam-32bit, it pulls in pam_kwallet as well. I guess you disabled automatic pulling in of recommended packages? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
