I think this may be related, but on arch I can link a simple "hello world"
program like this:
gcc -o try try.c -static-libgcc -Wl,-Bstatic -lpthread -Wl,-Bdynamic -lgomp
I get a static libgcc and libpthread and libgomp is dynamic.
The same command on OS TW gives me:
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/7/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld:
cannot find -lpthread
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
