Only relevant line: Static hostname: linux-e202.suse.de
uname -n says "linux-e202.suse.de" as well, which seems wrong.
Why is this wrong?
The nodename must not contain the domain. Wicked does it right and "uname -n" is only "linux-e202". Did you set something different? Whats the contents of
/etc/hostname, and is /etc/HOSTNAME a symlink to it?
"linux-e202.suse.de" and yes.
Are you using dhcpcd or dhclient?
Neither, just NM.
NM can use (in order of preference) dhcpcd, dhclient or an internal client. The SUSE NetworkManager package requires dhcp-client (dhclient), so you are probably *not* using the internal client.
How can I find out which one it uses? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
